Timor Oil Limited  held onshore concessions in East Timor prior to the Indonesian invasion in 1976.

There is currently no legislation in place in respect of the onshore oil exploration or production in East Timor so it is not possible to predict if or when any negotiation can take place with the government of Timor Leste for concessions.
